“We have enjoyed four busy days of conversations, showcasing and networking at ITU Telecom World 2013,” It has been our privilege to join such a truly broad global debate. As we prepare to return home to different corners of the globe, our hope is that we can take the lessons learnt from our experiences here and apply them directly in our lives.
The organizer along with Netka System has explored the theme of Embracing change in a digital world. The world is shifting together with Netka System to IP-based services which are moving the revolution of communication systems as we know them. They are successful in providing services, content and applications and the explosion of data, cloud and smartphones have drastically change the realities of the Telco sector. Entrance to the network is now the basic product, rather than voice-and the timescales for traditional business models, regulatory frameworks and infrastructure investment. The Netka System understands this change, work out how to expand with it and benefit from it.
Hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand, ITU Telecom World 2013 convened over 6000 participants from 153 countries worldwide.
