Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2011

On 11 November 2011, NetkaView Network Manager, the state-of-the-art product of Netka System Co., Ltd., won the excellent award in the Tools and Infrastructure Application category. This product acted as the representative of Thailand in participating in the Asia Pacific International Tools and Infrastructure Application or APICTA 2011 held at Pattaya during 8-11 November 2011.

The present APICTA 2011, held at Dusit Thani, Pattaya, is the eleventh event held and is the third time that Thailand hosted the event with the objectives to create ICT awareness among the member countries, find out the software product benchmark, create the network for those innovators and ICT entrepreneurs, encourage the creation of innovations, promote economic and commercial relationship in the region for the exchange of technologies, and promote Business Matching among the member countries like Australia, Brunai, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Burma, Pakistan, the Phillipines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. For the Tools and Infrastructure Application competition, NetkaView Network Manager joined the event on behalf of Thailand among those from the member countries and those countries who were awarded are:

• The excellent award is NetkaView Network Manager of Netka System Co.,Ltd.’s from Thailand.
• The merit award is STREAMS Intelligent Transport System of Transmax Pty Ltd. From Australia.
• The merit award is Joget Workflow of Open Dynamics Sdn.Bhd. from Malaysia.

For this APICTA 2011 competition, Thailand won several awards, three for the excellent awards and three for the Merit awards as the followings:

1. Bonanza Wealth Management of Wealth Management System Limited
   For Financial Industry Applications category.
2. Unawakening of the students from the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University
   For Tertiary Students category.
3. FaceBiz Website of Phuket Wittayalai School
   For Secondary Students category.

The next year APICTA 2012 will be honorably hosted by Brunai.
