Awarded APICTA 2011

APICTA 2011 is the International Software Competition in Asia Pacific of which 16 member countries are Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Burma, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. The objectives of the competition are to promote ICT awareness among the member countries, find out the standard criteria for the software products, create the network for the innovators and the ICT entrepreneurs, encourage the innovations, promote the economic and commercial relationship in the region, exchange technologies, and promote business matching among the member countries.

APICTA 2011, held this year, is the 11th competition which is honorably hosted by Thailand for the third time. SIPA and ATCI were the main sponsors. It was held during 8-11 November 2011 at Napalai Room, Dusit Thani Hotel, Pattaya. 169 software in 17 categories from member countries joined the event. 13 software which won the first excellent awards from TICTA 2011 as well as those 25 software which won the second excellent awards from TICTA 2011 joined the event on behalf of Thailand in 14 categories. For the competition result of this year, Thailand was awarded for three software and the three merit awards as follow:

The excellent awards are:

  1. NetkaView Network Manager of Netka System Co.,Ltd. Excellent award for Tools and Infrastructure Application
  2. GalileoDirect of Nippon SySits Co.,Ltd. Excellent award for Tourism & Hospitality Applications Category
  3. BUILK.COM FREE SaaS for Construction Industry of Builk Asia Company Limited. Excellent award for Industrial Applications

Merit Awards are:

  1. Bonanza Wealth Management of Wealth Management System Limited. Merit Award for Financial Industry Applications
  2. Unawakening of the students of the Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University Merit Award for Tertiary Students
  3. FaceBiz Website from Phuket Wittayalai School Merit Award for Secondary Students
